Serving: Spring/Summer Trends 2021, Cut-Outs!

I’m loving all of the feedback that I’ve been getting from my most recent posts, thank you! Elevating your look with the pieces that you already have and only introducing new pieces to make your wardrobe work for you, is key. Keeping style less complicated, I’m here for it! Continue to let me know the ways that you’ve been rocking the tips and trends that I discuss from my blog posts! I love to see it!

On today’s style menu, while keeping with the overall theme of comfort, we’re adding ways to be a little sexy yet still sophisticated. From the runways of Alexander McQueen to Prada, the cut out trend is a fun way to be sexy without being too scantily clad. If you’re anything like me, as much as I love to show skin, the older I get, I’m like girl relax. Lol

The cut out trend allows you to do both. Whether it’s letting it all hang out or just teasing with a hint of skin. My tip for this trend is to get creative. Find pieces that highlights the parts of your body that you love to show off, without feeling too exposed. For me, it’s my waist. Since I’m on the curvier side, cut outs at my waist creates the illusion of a smaller waist. And who doesn’t love to look snatched?!

The same goes with any area of your body that you highlight with this trend. For example, if your arms are the part of your body that you love, a top with cut outs in that area, creates the illusion of a slimmer, sleeker look.

For my look below, keeping with the theme of comfort, I incorporated this fabulous body suit with cut outs at the waist. Paired with my favorite distressed jeans and some mules in a fun color. Check me out below:
